Comments: These twenty-eight measures illustrate how Freddie Green would create counterpoint to the bass line. The tune is based on the chord changes from "Jumpin' At the Woodside", a Count Basie classic. The majority of the notes are played on the 4th string. If an upper note is added, play the added note on the 3rd string. An exception is in measures 20 and 21. On beat 4, measure 20, use the 4th and 5th strings. Use the same strings for measure 21.
